Link Buffet Monday: Volume 13

Alexandra Heide

Happy Thanksgiving Week, Y'all! Many of us are anxiously awaiting a long weekend of family time, total relaxation and binge-eating...meanwhile TIME magazine is irking everyone again (first by attempting to ban Feminism, now by taking a jab at Thanksgiving) by showing us what happens to our bodies when we overeat days before Thanksgiving. YOU'RE NOT GONNA MAKE ANY FRIENDS IF YOU KEEP THESE ANTICS UP, TIME.

The Flock, on the other hand, fully encourages you to go in for that second helping of mashed potatoes, drink a wee bit too much wine (but don't drive) and nap all you want. Why? Because you've earned it. However, before you indulge in turkey and ten different types of pie, why not have a bite from the ol' Link Buffet?

Remember the #Pointergate shenanigans? Refinery29, one of our favorite places for fashion and beauty trendwatching, just launched a female-focused Politics & News section and covered it.

Some of us are jumping on the Taylor Swift bandwagon BIG TIME now. How could you not, when this song + video perfection exists?

Is it wrong to assume we can just make all of our Chrismas presents this year?

Did you know women are more prone to "suffer" from Collective Hysteria? Stuff You Should Know explains, and it's fascinating

And yes, we are just as obsessed with Serial as the rest of you. Whodunnit?

Link Buffet Monday: Volume 8

Alexandra Heide

Today was a doozy of a Monday, wasn't it? The Flock is in recovery from a wonderful weekend away at Talia's cabin where lessons on curling hair with a straightener and croissant-making were aplenty. (The croissants were perfect, but hair-curling practice is still needed, in case you're wondering.) Anyway, here are some links that got our attention recently. Sorry in advance for the nightmares.

If you're going to be a GMO activist, you should probably know what it means.

Confirmed:  This is the best banana bread recipe to ever grace the earth.

Do you believe in ghosts

Sorry in advance for the nightmares.

On a lighter note, Hola Arepa is now serving brunch.

It's not quite Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, but grilled cheese will be falling from the sky. In the words of Liz Lemon, "I want to go to there."
