Much like mustaches and man-buns, whiskey is having a moment. After a long day of urban lumberjacking there's nothing better than an Old Fashioned or simple bourbon over ice. Whiskey is no easy game for traditional clear-spirit distillers though, since the aging process takes between 5 and 20 years depending on the type. So what's a powerhouse vodka company to do? They're going to jump on the trend with an Oak rested vodka.
Absolut sent us a bottle of their new Oak by Absolut, so Kate and I tried it, on camera*, and then made Moscow Mules.
*note: apologies for my iMovie skills and the production quality of the video, we're still learning. And if anyone wants to pay us in, like, real money rather than vodka we could probably hire an actual video person to help us out.
