Link Buffet Monday: Gift Guide Round Up Edition

Kate Sommers

Since everyone and their mom is posting a Holiday Gift Guide this year (guilty as charged) we rounded up a few choice lists that we think are worthy of your time from some of our favorite bloggers out there.

Molly from Hey Eleanor admits to not even really liking gift guides, but she made one anyway (god I love her) by rounding all the books, movies and records worthy of taking up space on your loved one's shelves.

For the Midwest Food Lover in your life, you won't want to miss Heavy Table's insanely long (and shockingly perfect) 2014 Local Food Gift Guide.

Speaking of food, A Couple Cooks is a great food blog based out of Indianapolis with a marvelous eye for design. Their gift shop is geared towards amping up the food lover's game for ANY gift giving days you might stumble upon. Speaking from experience (and their recommendation) the herb keeper is a definite must have in any serious chef's kitchen.

For the beauty junky in your life, Beauty Bets has an entire Gift Guide Department that is updated all. year. round. (the last seven posts are holiday specific).

Did I mention we love food? Monique from Ambitious Kitchen rounded up 15 Basic Kitchen Essentials, perfect for that couple who just moved together, recent grads and friends who you know still cut tomatoes with a butter knife.

I can't really afford anything on Wit & Delight's gift list, but it sure is pretty to look at

For the nerds in your life, I Fucking Love Science came up with a list for all levels of geekdom from DNA testing to a Pi Fruit Bowl (I'll take the Gallium, please)

Special late-comer addition (as in 45 minutes ago!) goes to The Midwestival who shows off more of the best from the Midwest

Finally, it may be gauche to mention A Cup of Jo's gift guide since she has like, a bajillion readers, but if I want everything she lists, it must be good.
